Many of the poems are inspirational for people looking for that special spiritual something to help them through their days. Other will make you laugh, another will make you question attitudes about another's opinion or perspective. The poems come from a collection of diverse perspectives and styles. They have a universal appeal and have been an excellent source of inspiration and peace to the many people that have experienced them.
Some poems like "Lunch Over Water" (p.15) and "Heaven Can Wait" (p.10) portrays great imagery.
"He Walked For Me" (p.79) is simple yet heartfelt in that we don't often think of the Lord and his sufferings.

"As I Wait To Your Arms" (p.13): Comfort from the Lord when one is very ill.
"Katrina's Wrath" (p.48): Devastation of hurricane Katrina 2005.
