Islands

1984

research
his
PhD
thesis
on
the
Marquesas
Islands

worked
in
Fiji
and
New
Zealand,
as
well
as
in
many
archives
and
museum
collections
in
Europe,
North
America,
and
the
Pacific.
His
books
