Notă biografică
JOHN THEILMANN is Associate Professor of History and Politics at Converse College in South Carolina. The author of several articles and book chapters, he has managed a congressional campaign and engaged in political consulting in Missouri.AL WILHITE is Professor of Economics at Georgia Southern University. He has published several articles on the determinants of contributions, their impact on legislative voting, and race and gender differentials. His current interest in rent-seeking has prompted him to begin fleshing out theoretical models for past empirical studies.
