Diss Integrated Chinese" is a serious parody of the study of university level Chinese language and culture. Professor McArthur serves as an unreliable narrator as his faithful Poodle Blaine is struggling with kidney failure. The novel educates and entertains, as Dean Pantera observes Perv, Gay Guy, Measure-Word Vampire, Su Xi, and Johnson take over McArthur's classes as he cares for his dog. To add to the mix, the main character Wang Peng is killed on the first page of the novel, and McArthur's unreliable narration tries to balance out the 200 cartoons that add to the novels text which begins ......
