Notă biografică
Lucy Appah was born in Benin City, Nigeria on June 28. Lucy is part of a large family, being the seventh child of nine. Values such as Christianity, education and love was vital to her growing up and remained with since. Her father was an Army General and military veteran who fought in World War II. Because of her father's military background, she and her family were exposed to constant travel. Through the different experiences she gained from travelling and growing older, Lucy developed an intense passion for writing. She used writing as an outlet for not only self-expression but to shed light on the happenings going on around her. As she blossomed into adulthood, she carried core values, such as love and faith, with her when it came to starting a family of her own. As most women, Lucy wears many hats, both personally and professionally. She began working as a midwife in her respected country of Nigeria. Once permanently relocating to Atlanta, Georgia, Lucy went through schooling to become a Registered Nurse licensed in several states. Despite her rewarding career, Lucy stated being a mother is her most proud accomplishment. She is a mother of four and wife for over twenty years who selflessly devotes her wellbeing into raising her children into strong, unique and passionate individuals. She raises her children with the same values she was surrounded with as a child, as she feels this is vital to them as they mature into their own adults. Lucy strongly believes family is where life begins and love never ends.
