Author: Nancy Castaldo has been an author of children's books for more than 20 years. She has written dozens of non-fiction children's books including Totally True Adventures! The Race Around the World: How Nellie Bly Chased an Impossible Dream. Many of her books have received accolades, including a Smithsonian Notable Book For Children and an American Bookseller Pick of the Lists. Nancy lives in New York, USA, and has a Twitter following of c.1,800.

Literacy consultant: Stephanie Laird is an instructional coach at Mitchellville Elementary in Mitchellville, Iowa, and is currently serving on the International Literacy Association's (ILA) Board of Directors through 2019.
