Special Agent Christian "Do-Right" Folsom still has nightmares of revenants eating his family. In an effort to find some closure, he travels back to Trinidad, Colorado, to spend time with his aging parents and his brother. Searching for peace of mind while hunting, Do-Right and his brother head to the hills. Their hunting trip turns into a nightmare when they encounter a monster Do-Right has never heard of.

Having already dealt with tragedy in his own home, Do-Right must now make agonizing decisions that will affect his brother and his parents-his only surviving family.
