Dr. Matthew Hughes is Senior Lecturer in Military and International History at the University of Salford. He is the author of Allenby and British Strategy in the Middle East. Dr. Matthew S. Seligmann is Senior Lecturer at University College, Northampton, where he specialises in twentieth century history. His previous books include Rivalry in Southern Africa, Germany from Reich to Republic.
