Two young rabbits go on an impromptu gambol on a chilly Christmas Eve, but venture too far from home, and unwittingly get entangled in some very hare-raising adventures. There's a fast locomotive, some bewildering and menacing beasts, and the appearance of the Jolly One, and even - perhaps - the Evil One.
