Anna wants to loosen her reins with her London-based PR company to spend more quiet time in sunny Mallorca with her family. But things don't work out quite as planned. There's a Mad Hatter's Tea Party and visit to a haunted mansion to contend with as zany UK clients continue to give her a run for her money. Meanwhile, amid wasp and ant invasions in the Mallorcan finca, she insists that her menagerie of animals will only be complete with donkeys. In the midst of all this, she befriends an elderly Mallorcan poet, whose letters from his sweetheart during the Spanish Civil War waft into her garden, unveiling a poignant story of bravery and sacrifice.
