When you threaten the life of a child, even the meekest, kindest women will turn into a tiger out ready to attack. Lucy was being backed in a corner, fighting to protect her children in a dark side of Dorchester in what used to be a beautiful side of Boston, Massachusetts. With the sudden death of her husband, she was left alone, except for her faithful German shepherds, ready to die for her kids. Her fight for survival started in a rapidly changing neighborhood with nowhere to go. No money and no education made that alone a very hard challenge. Lucy's strength and courage and an enormous amount of love for her ten children made her careen into a different person. The threats of harm to her children brought her to levels of anger she never she never knew she possessed. Lucy would do whatever it took to protect her children and bring them to safety.
