His unique eyewitness account describes a city suffering unimaginable tragedy and yet persevering and attempting to continue a 'normal' life. Forty years after these monumental events Dorry sat down and wrote out his story before sending it to Avon and Somerset Constabulary in the anticipation that they may find a use for it. A further thirty years later it was rediscovered in the Bristol City Archives and now, at last, Dorry's story is published for all to share and enjoy.
