Life as we know it is limited to the physical world around us, looking out from this small blue planet we can see millions of stars in a vast emptiness with no end in sight, yet it seems we are alone in this vast universe. We don't know what's out there, what awaits us beyond that first star on the right, so, why must we limit God's Power to our own tiny little rock? If we truly believe that God is the sole creator of all we see, and all we can imagine, then we must also believe that if others are out there, they were created by God as well. They must look to a small blue planet; to a race of insignificant men, chosen by God Himself to be an example for all peoples. Their faith must stretch across the universe to this small planet because not only must they believe that God chose such an insignificant spec, but also that His only begotten son Jesus Christ was sent there to live and die for them as well. DragonKnights takes place on such a planet, inhabited by humans, like us, and other races as well. Here races more powerful than the lowly humans must humble themselves and accept that humans are the chosen vessels of God, and as the greater species must serve and protect the humans at all cost, or face the eternal death that awaits all creatures disobedient to God's Will. The very human characters in the book face much more powerful races of people from myth and legend, such as elves and dwarfs, trolls and orcs, and yes even dragons. The challenges they face will bring focus to a world that has strayed far off the narrow path and forgotten God's purpose in life.
