Based on the Life of Curtis Merworth Curtis Merworth had a heart of gold and he was consumed during the last two years of his life trying to find the legendary Lost Dutchman Gold. He was positive that he had found the treasure located inside of Superstition Mountain. Unfortunately at the end like many before him, the mountain took his life along with two others. There have been many people who have searched for the lost gold. As of today no one has ever found the gold and most people who go looking for it never come back alive. The mountain is known for its harsh weather, the temperatures can get up to 120 degrees. According to legend the mountain has been cursed by the Apache Indians. The three men are now part of the history of the Lost Dutchman Gold.
