Jacqueline HAYDEN Jacqueline Hayden BA, MEd, PhD is Professor of Early Childhood and Social Inclusion at Macquarie University, Australia. She has worked or researched in the fi eld of ECD in diverse contexts and regions, including Africa, North America, Europe, and Australasia. Jacqueline has published or presented over 150 papers. Her most notable publications include the edited book Landscapes in Early Childhood Education: Cross National Perspectives on Empowerment, and the co-authored From Confl ict to Peace Building: The Power of Early Childhood Initiatives- Lessons from around the World. Aija TUNA After being ISSA's Program Director since 2006, Aija Tuna currently serves as a Program Specialist for ISSA, as well as an independent consultant through her company "Knowledge Creation Lab." For decades, Tuna has been actively involved in promoting systemic and purposeful change in education at the classroom, school, national, and international levels in the post-communist region through different national and international projects. Tuna has provided consultancy and technical assistance in many countries, including Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Pakistan, and Russia, working in close partnership with colleagues in the UK, US, Nordic countries, and elsewhere.
