Recenzii
Krohne has produced a well-written and very readable ecology text. The book has excellent examples and a fresh evolutionary perspective on ecology, and it will be widely useful for ecology classes.
This book is a superb combination of accessibility, integration, and soundness. Most importantly, it employs a powerful educational strategy. Ecology, Second Edition, is one of the most compelling textbooks I have seen.
The design and layout of the chapters is far superior to that of other ecology textbooks. The writing is informative, but not dense with extraneous information… Content presentation, interactive examples, and succinct review questions and outlines are some of this book's many strengths." - Joseph R. Milanovich, Loyola University Chicago
This is the best ecology text out there. The emphasis on evolution inis the strongest of any ecology text I have used, and the writing style makes the material easy for undergraduates to absorb.
With so much evolutionary connection, Ecology, Second Edition, is a nearly perfect text. It clearly addresses the complexity of ecological and evolutionary interactions.
