Henryk Szlajfer, Ph.D. (1977) in Sociology and Habilitation (2006) in Political Sciences, is Professor at the Institute of Americas and Europe, Warsaw University, and the Institute of Political Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences. He has published on Latin American economic and political modern history and European international affairs. Co-editor of Western Europe, Eastern Europe and World Development 13th–18th Centuries. Collection of Essays of Marian Małowist (Brill 2010).
