MSG improves appetite center positively with increase in the body .Though MSG improves taste stimulation and enhances appetite, it is toxic to human and experimental animals. As safety of MSG`s usage has generated much controversy globally. MSG consumption may have some deleterious effect on the cells of the cerebellum of adult rats and by extention may affect the functions of the cerebellum and may lead to tremors, unstable and uncoordinated movements and ataxia.
