The three biggest changes in my life have come from improving my strength and conditioning, enhanced flexibility, and increased ability to focus through meditation and visualization.
Meditation and visualization have helped me control my emotions and simulate live competitions before they even happened.
Adding yoga and extended periods of stretching have reduced my injuries to almost zero and have improved my reaction and speed.
Improving my nutrition has more than allowed me to continue performing at my peak under difficult climatic conditions which might have affected me in the past causing cramps and muscle pulls.
By far, meditation and visualization will change everything no matter what athletic discipline you're in. You will see how powerful it is once you spend more and more time on it and dedicate a minimum of 10 minutes a day to breathing, focused thinking, and concentrating.
