Elquin

For years, they've struggled to keep their dying planet alive. But, as their star reaches the inevitable end of its life cycle, the Elquin people have finally run out of options. They must find a new place to live or face certain death-and the planet Earth, with its thriving conditions for life, seems like the most promising option.

Now only one obstacle stands in the way of the Elquin building a new home-the human race-a people not exactly open to visitors from outer space, and who, in many cases, have been programmed to fear aliens. And while most humans can be overcome with advanced Elquin technology, some are found to have special gifts that limit their ability to be controlled.

When a romantic connection causes privileged information to fall into human hands, one Elquin finds himself on the line for traitorous acts, as tension between the species continues to grow.
