Her famous movie star parents, fearful of losing their only child, have kept her isolated on their Malibu estate, with her quirky great-grandmother as her home school teacher. Her GG Anne hatches a plot to convince Eme's parents to allow her to attend a local community college for a few summer tech classes. The plot succeeds beyond their wildest expectations: Eme is sprung from her "prison," and she finds herself headed to a world-renowned technical institute in Switzerland. Her plane never arrives at its destination; instead Eme, because of her name, finds herself and three of her new acquaintences embroiled in a terrorist plot to seize control of the World Bank and destroy America by way of an ingenoius email protocol that allows solid objects to travel through cyberspace.
