Stephen P. Ferris is Dean and Professor of Finance at the Miller College of Business, Ball State University. His research interests include the regulation of capital markets, corporate governance, bankruptcy, and legal analysis of corporate activity. He has published in Journal of Finance, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Financial Services Research, Financial Review, International Review of Economics and Business, Pacific Basin Finance Journal, Journal of Political Economy and Journal of Business Finance and Accounting and was editor of The Financial Review from 1997-2003.
Kose John is the Charles William Gerstenberg Professor of Banking and Finance at New York University Stern School of Business and teaches courses in corporate finance. Areas of his recent research include corporate governance, corporate bankruptcy, executive compensation, and corporate disclosure. He has also done research in the areas of financial markets and financial theory. He has published over a hundred articles in several top journals including American Economic Review, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies and Financial Management.
Anil K. Makhija serves as dean and John W. Berry, Sr. Chair in Business of the Max M. Fisher College of Business. Makhija is recognized as an expert in the field of finance, particularly capital structure, corporate governance, and valuation, and has more than 20 years of experience in academic leadership roles. He has a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, an MBA from Tulane University, and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
