Notă biografică

Maria Lassen-Seger, PhD, is Head of the Unit of the Arts and Humanities Library at Abo Akademi University, Finland, where she also teaches children's literature classes. She is a jury-member for the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award (ALMA), and serves on the editorial boards of Children's Literature in Education and the Benjamins' book series Children's Literature, Culture and Cognition. Lassen-Seger has written articles on the motif of metamorphosis in children's literature, fantasy, picturebooks and Finland-Swedish children's literature. She is the author of the study Adventures into Otherness (2006), and the co-editor of Celebrating a Displaced Hedgehog (2012). Anne Skaret, PhD, is Associate Professor of Scandinavian Literature at Hedmark University College, Norway, where she teaches children's literature. Skaret serves on the editorial board of BLFT/Nordic Journal of ChildLit Aesthetics and she is a jury-member for the Nynorsk Children's Literature Award. She has published articles on children's literature, and is the co-editor of a book about Norwegian author Hanna Winsnes, titled 'Det norske Qvindekjons Pryd': Ei bok om Hanna Winsnes (2003).
