Recenzii
From
the
reviews:
“This encyclopedia is the only reference of its type. … this set offers something for everyone: summaries of state of the art and suggested research ideas for graduate students and professional researchers; descriptions of empirically tested methods for use by educators, case workers, and aides; and explanations for parents of common and not-so-common terms associated with their children on the spectrum. Summing Up: Highly recommended. Upper-division undergraduates and above; general readers.” (K. M. Dillon, Choice, Vol. 50 (11), August, 2013)
“This encyclopedia provides a comprehensive and current guide to the vast subjects of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and pervasive developmental disorders (PDDs) and is aimed at researchers, practitioners and professionals in the field. … This exponential rise in both the interest and amount of research in this field makes this encyclopedia a very timely and valuable resource. … The electronic version allows researchers across the world 24/7 access to a very useful tool in this fast information age.” (Penny Dade, Reference Reviews, Vol. 27 (6), 2013)
“Encyclopedia of Autism Spectrum Disorders … serves as a vast summation of recent research, findings, and developments in the area of autism and has potential for being a widely used resource among researchers, parents, and practitioners. … a resource that will be valued for decades to come. … an extremely valuable contribution to the field of autism, lending a wealth of information to the field and packaging it such that any person interested in a specific topic can quickly access pertinent and trustworthy information.” (Glen Dunlap and Ashley Greenwald, PsycCRITIQUES, Vol. 58 (40), 2013)
