And yet, it was clearly directed at everyone. Her fans, the hordes of devoted followers left longing for her beauty: "I have surprised the world with my magic, but my magic has been my only company...Every man who has said they loved me, loved me only for my secrets, my powers, but most of all for my beauty. No one sees the real me. They do not see my soul. None have seen me. None, and so I must disappear..."
