Textul de pe ultima copertă

You will find in these pages a comprehensive record of campaigns, overseas services, battles and engagements of the English and Welsh line infantry regiments created following the British Army reorganisations of 1881. From Tangier in 1662 to Bosnia in the mid-1990's, here is a thorough, up-to-date, record of the countries in which each regiment served and the year in which they moved. Elements covered are the details of all campaigns, battles and engagements; listings of titles and designations; nicknames; uniforms with facing colours and dates of any changes; badges; all devices worn with their origins; and previously unpublished photographs illustrating the badges, insignia and uniforms.
