Barney Saltzberg is the author and illustrator of close to 50 books for children, including Beautiful Oops!, Arlo Needs Glasses, Would You Rather Be A Princess or a Dragon?, and the bestselling Touch and Feel Kisses series with over a million copies in print. Additionally, he's recorded four albums of music for children.
When an art school teacher once told Barney that he had the ability to draw like a child (and, after he crawled out from under the table), he realized he had future in children's literature.
Barney has been working with the United States State Department as a part of the Cultural Exchange Program and has traveled to China and Russia to speak about the creative process. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two dogs.
