KEITH GLANCEY is strategic planning director for a company providing seed capital and management services to new technology ventures. He was formerly a Lecturer in Economics at Napier University, Edinburgh and has published widely on entrepreneurship in a variety of books and international journals

RONALD W. MCQUAID is Senior Lecturer in Economics at Napier University, Edinburgh. He has postgraduate degrees from the London School of Economics and Harvard University and has published a number of books and articles on economic development issues and on entrepreneurship. He has acted as a consultant to local, national and supranational agencies and firms
