Notă biografică

Veland Ramadani is a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Business at the Faculty of Business and Economics, South-East European University, North Macedonia. His research interests include entrepreneurship, small business management, and family businesses. He authored or co-authored around 120 research articles, 10 textbooks, and 14 edited books. He has published in Journal of Business Research, International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal, International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behavior & Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, among others. Dr. Ramadani has recently published the co-edited book Organizational Mindset of Entrepreneurship (Springer). Dr. Ramadani is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Enterprising Communities (JEC). He has received the Award for Excellence 2016 – Outstanding Paper by Emerald Group Publishing. In addition, Dr. Ramadani was invited as a keynote speaker in several international conferences and as a guest lecturer by President University, Indonesia and Telkom University, Indonesia. In 2017, he was appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of Development Bank of North Macedonia, where for ten months served as an acting Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Esra Memili is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Dean’s Notable Scholar at the Bryan School of Business and Economics, University of North Carolina-Greensboro (USA). She is the author of research articles which have appeared in the journals Entrepreneurship: Theory and Practice, Global Strategy Journal, Long Range Planning, Family Business Review, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of Family Business Strategy, Small Business Economics, and others. She is an Associate Editor at the Journal of Family Business Strategy and an Editorial Review Board member of the Journal of Management Studies, Family Business Review, Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies, Entrepreneurship Research Journal, and International Journal of Management and Enterprise Development. Dr. Memili has recently published a co-edited book titled The Palgrave Handbook of Heterogeneity among Family Firms.
Ramo Palalić is an Assistant Professor at the Economics and Management Department, Faculty of Business and Administration, International University of Sarajevo (IUS), Sarajevo, Bosnia, and Herzegovina. He is a Coordinator of the Leadership and Entrepreneurship Centre (LEC). His research interests are entrepreneurship, leadership, marketing, SMEs and family businesses. He teaches at all three-cycle study levels in the above areas. Apart from this, he is actively involved in business projects in the areas of entrepreneurial leadership and marketing management, in private and public organizations. He has authored and co-authored many articles in reputable international journals, several books, and many book chapters. Additionally, he serves at some journals as a reviewer/editorial board member.
Erick P.C. Chang is an Associate Professor of Management at Neil Griffin College of Business at Arkansas State University (USA). He comes from an entrepreneurial family, who has run businesses in Guatemala, the U.S., and other countries over the last 5 generations. He has published in the Journal of Business Venturing, Entrepreneurship: Theory and Practice, Family Business Review, among others. He is an editorial board member of Family Business Review and Journal of Family Business Strategy. His achievements include Arkansas Governor's Cup as an advisor; C. Sam Walls Entrepreneurship Educator of the Year for Arkansas, A-State Service Faculty Award; 2009 Hispanic Achiever; 2008 Finalist for NFIB Dissertation Award; 2010 College Research award; 2007 Triple Crown for Ph.D. Student research awards; and a Fulbright scholarship from 1995-1997. He resides in Guatemala during school breaks to run a business with two high school friends.
