Notă biografică

Izharul Haq is currently working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. He has obtained his PhD in Microbiology from CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow, India. He is working on the theme of liquid and solid waste management through microorganisms and their toxicity evaluation. He has been honoured with the prestigious award “Young Scientist Award 2018” to recognize his scientific research. Dr. Haq has published many research and review papers in reputed national and international journals with high impact factors. He has published many book chapters in splendid international books and has also published two books with reputed international publishers. He has supervised four M. Tech students in the Environmental Engineering field. He is appointed as Review Editor on the Editorial Board of Water and Wastewater Management, Frontiers in Environmental Science. He also serves as a reviewer in many international journals published by different publishers.
Ajay S. Kalamdhad is working as a professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Assam, India. He has obtained his PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from IIT Roorkee. His research team is working on solid waste management by microbial and vermicomposting, aerobic and anaerobic digestion of kitchen waste and industrial sludge for biogas production, and composting of water hyacinth using different composting technologies. He also serves as an editorial board member/reviewer for several national/international journals of repute. Currently, he is supervising 18 PhD and 11 M. Tech students, and more than 10 PhD and 35 M. Tech dissertations have been completed under his supervision. In addition, he has handled nine major R&D projects funded by various agencies. He has published more than 150 research papers in national and international journals of repute. He also has published many book chapters and six international books with different national and international publishers.
Siddhant Dash is currently a PhD research scholar in the Department of Civil Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. His research interests include surface and sub-surface water quality monitoring studies, sediment contamination in water bodies, aquatic ecology, water quality modelling, water and wastewater treatment systems, ecological modelling and solid waste engineering. He is the recipient of the prestigious Water Advanced Research and Innovation (WARI) Fellowship Program supported by the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), the Daugherty Water for Food Institute (DWFI) and the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) for the year 2019-2020. He has published ten journal papers and four book chapters to date. He is also a reviewer of many reputed international journals.
