Ephemeral Touch is a collection of the work and words of nature and prophetic artist Mel Jackson. Working in watercolor, Jackson explores the wilderness of far northern California along with the images from his spiritual relationship with the Lord. Mel Jackson has frequent shows in California and often paints in the Healing Room of Bethel Church, Redding, California. This is Jackson's first book.

Notă biografică
Mel Jackson grew up in a place and time that no longer exists. His small hometown of Etna, California sits in the Scott Valley surrounded by the Salmon, Trinity, and Marble Mountains. He wandered the high wilderness ridges to lakes that held snow into summer. He fished the Scott River after school and hunted the mountain meadows in the fall. He felt the touch of a melting snowflake upon his cheek walking to school in the winter. In the process, he not only became more aware of the land but of the Lord who created it. These ephemeral images form the background for his art today. The subtle tones of his watercolor paintings evoke the subtle images of a faded photograph of yesterday.
