Eppich House 2

Autor Greg Bellerby
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 13 iun 2019
  • LEADING ARCHITECT: Considered by many to be the best architect to come out of Canada, this book tells the amazing story of one of Erickson's greatest residential masterpieces. The architecture of the second half of the 20th century is back in vogue and gaining popularity with younger generations, so this book covers all the right bases. Erickson is known to U.S. architecture fans -- he had a busy Los Angeles office and did many U.S. projects.
  • RESPECTED AUTHOR: Greg Bellerby was the long-time curator of the Charles H. Scott Gallery at the Emily Carr University of Art + Design, a gallery that specialized in architecutural exhibitions. Greg was the author and curator of the important West Coast Modern House exhibition and book -- his expertise and knowlege are matched by his great writing ability.
  • UNIQUE PROJECT: Hugo Eppich was a great person for Arthur Erickson to collaborate with. The owner of a major steel fabricating plant in the Vancouver area, Erickson was able to have custom steel forms created that could not have been done for any other client. Erickson was able to express his vision without concern for cost or difficulty. In addition, his partner, designer Franciso Kripacz, was able to create an entire custom line of furniture for the project that perfectly compliments the building and which is also immaculately preserved in the building today.
