Stefan R. Hauser, Ph.D. (1994) in Near Eastern History and Archaeology, Free University Berlin, is Senior Researcher at the University of Halle. He has written numerous books and articles on Assyrian, Parthian, and Byzantine archaeology and history as well as historiography.
