Kay Biesel is professor of child and youth services, with the focus on child protection, at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts North Western Switzerland. Judith Masson is professor of socio-legal studies at the University of Bristol, UK. Nigel Parton is professor in the School of Human and Health Sciences at the University of Huddersfield, UK. Tarja Pösö is professor of social work at the University of Tampere, Finland, and professor at the Centre for Research on Discretion and Paternalism at the University of Bergen, Norway.
