Ray Perman(foreword) enjoyed a 25-year tenure at Christie’s Auction House, beginning his career as a mail clerk before rising to CEO of Christie’s International and President of Christie’s East, NY. He is currently Executive Director of Grosvenor Gallery, London and Sevenarts Ltd.
    
Rosalind Ormiston(author) is a researcher, lecturer and author in art, architecture and design history. She lectures in art and architectural history at Kingston University, London. Her publications includeColour Source Book,Alphonse Mucha: Masterworks,Art Deco: The Golden Age of Graphic Art and Illustration;Michelangelo: His Life and Works in 500 ImagesandLeonardo da Vinci: His Life and Works in 500 Images.
