The title of this study, "Estimation of Fisheries Impact Due to Underwater Explosives Used to Sever and Salvage Oil and Gas Platforms in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico," is somewhat a misnomer. There are a wide variety of oil and gas structures in a edition to platforms. Data analysis included extrapolation of results to other structure types in addition to those commonly referred to as platforms.
