Recenzii

Epidemiology is a quantitative science. In Coughlin and Dawson's Ethics and Epidemiology, we are reminded that each number has a history and meaning, and that epidemiology must work in the service of justice.
Ethics and Epidemiology, Third Edition rightly eschews the belief that quantitative measurement circumvents debates over values by demonstrating that ethical issues are both present in epidemiological investigation and amenable to resolution. Readers will benefit from this interconnected analysis of science and values and learn strategies for addressing current complex global issues.
