Ciel Leinthide is an angel who was sent to Earth as a contractor, sending good souls to Elysium in the afterworld. He, and many other demons and angels have been contracted by a large organization running the afterworld known as "the Ministry." Ever since his deployment on Earth, and even before that in Elysium, he accepted the assumption that demons are evil, and angels are good; the same assumption most humans make. He accepted that the Ministry is separating demons from angels for his sake. However, after meeting Josephine le Fleur and other demons, he begins to question the motives of the Ministry. Everlasting is an action romance story.
