Excavations in Winchelsea, Sussex 1974-2000: Field Archaeology Unit Monograph - Institute of Archaeology,

Autor DAVID MARTIN
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 31 aug 2009
The port town of Winchelsea is mentioned in most books that discuss medieval England, but rarely appears among lists of significant medieval English towns and ports. In the light of recent research our views need to be reconsidered. One source of this new data has been the archaeological investigations carried out within the town since 1974. It is these that are reported within this monograph.
