In this book, leading scholars from Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States deal with important theoretical and practical issues in the law of contract and closely-related areas of private law. The articles analyse developments in the law of estoppel, mistake, undue influence, the interpretation of contracts, assignment, exclusion clauses and damages. Recenzii

In summary, Exploring Contract Law is a worthwhile collection of essays to have in any library.Far from just pointing the way to various topics in contract law ... this book may well be the signpost that points the way to how explorations of contract law could be done in the future. This ... systematic and engaging way of exploration ... transcends beyond the one-dimensional doctrinal study of contract law, and promises to be an intellectual feast for the reader.
The book does not disappoint, providing much food for thought on the Common Law approach to both substantive contract law and theories of contract law....the book is valuable and thought-provoking, with a wide scope, and would be an excellent addition to any law library.
Exploring Contract Law is an impressive, almost breathtaking, intellectual feat. It is difficult to imagine a more scholarly, insightful, broad ranging collection of essays on contract law by a more impressive group of academic authors.
