Following careers as a printer, Mississippi riverboat pilot, and a brief stint in the Confederate militia, Twain wrote such American classics as"" The Adventures of Tom Sawyer"", ""The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn"" and ""A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court"".
