Carlitos is a small, short child who only has eyes for Ins. However, she is a tall, pretty girl who attracts everyone's attention, so never notices him. He does everything in his power to be noticed but to no avail: for Ins it's as if he does not exist. Hope arrives one day when he gets "glasses to see", and is convinced that finally she might notice him.
