Notă biografică

Fran Nuño was born in Bilbao in 1973 but lives in Seville, Spain. He is a writer, cultural promoter, and bookseller-editor. Author of some forty published books, almost all of them children's literature, among which there are novels, stories, poetry, theater pieces, manuals and picture books. He has received several awards and mentions, both for his literary work and for his work in favor of reading. He won the Gold Medal for Best Illustrated Album in Spanish at the Moonbeam Children's Book Awards 2013 for Fairground Lights (Cuento de Luz) was awarded Best illustrated album for all ages at the New York City Big Book Award 2017 for The Map of Good Memories (Cuento de Luz). His work has been translated into Galician, Valencian, Catalan, English, German, Portuguese, Arabic, Mandarin, and Korean.

Enrique Quevedo was born in Cádiz, Spain, in 1967, and currently resides in Seville. From a very young age, Enrique was interested in drawing and also in the operation of mechanical devices, which led him to study Fine Arts in Seville, where he majored in painting. Today, he is a full-time illustrator, mostly working on children's picture books (The Great Magician of the World, Fairground Lights, The Dance of Time...) and collaborating with the Sevillian gallery La Caja China. His work has been exhibited in galleries in Barcelona, Jerez and at the ARCO Fair in Madrid. In 2012 he was awarded Gold Medal for Best Illustrator at the Moonbeam Children's Book Awards 2012 and in 2014 he won gold again in the category of Best Children's Book of the Living Now Awards in the United States.
