Faith Seeking

Autor Denys Turner, Dennis Turner
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 19 ian 2009
Denys Turner is one of the most accomplished thinkers in contemporary theology. His distinctive contribution to topics as diverse as theology and politics and mysticism and theology is characterized by an incisive iconoclasm and a fervent desire to get at the truth of things. Time and again the author offers striking and original observations, which put new perspectives on familiar subjects.
While Faith Seeking originated as talks given to a wide variety of audiences, it uniformly attempts to reconcile the apparently conflicting -- but as the author sees it, complementary -- outlooks of head and heart. Its fundamental theme is that the mind cm love just as the heart needs to understand and that a proper use of intellect is a way of being truly alive.
