Joey and Debra meet by pure chance, stranded by an unexpected snowstorm on their way to Albuquerque. Debra is leaving a small town in Arizona to start a new career as a nurse. Joey is on his way home after visiting his stepson in California. But they soon learn they have something in common other than their destinations. They each recently lost a loved one-likely murdered.
