With the retirement of Mama Bertie after 37 years of devoted service to the hearts, minds, and stomachs at Palmer Home for Children, we have collected more than 150 of the recipes used while she served as the dietician at Palmer. Along with many others, she planned, prepared, chopped, mixed, cut, stirred, baked, served and cleaned for the children God had laid on her heart.
