The Lord's Prayer is a gift from Christ. It has been said and quoted over the ages, and is a routine part of nearly every worship service. We have heard sermons on it, and I am sure that The Lord's Prayer is the subject of numerous anthems and songs. The Lord's Prayer is much more than words, however. It is an expression and illustration of God. The prayer provides insight into God's character, priorities and thoughts. It is a beautiful opportunity to know God and our relationship to him.
