What are the goals of discipleship? How are church members to grow? How can the community be reached for Christ? Readers will learn the answers to these questions and many more. Disciples will: - Learn the importance and biblical nature of discipleship, meeting with other disciples, reading Scripture, praying, journaling, and reading supplemental materials in order to grow in Christlikeness. - Become equipped to read, interpret, understand, and apply Scripture. - Become acquainted with the disciplines of the Christian Life and commit to practicing them. - Acquire knowledge of spiritual warfare and the training necessary to use the spiritual armor against Satan, the flesh, and the world. - Learn the doctrines of Scripture and the importance of God's word in life, the church, evangelism, and missions.
