Dr Elizabeth Malone is Reader in Education, Pedagogy and Citizenship, Manchester at Metropolitan University, UK, and Editor of Education 3-13, International Journal of Primary, Elementary and Early Years Education.
Dr Avril Rowley is Senior Lecturer in Primary Education at Liverpool John Moores University, UK.
