Notă biografică

About the foster mom of this book: Maureen Ann Flaherty Maureen Ann Flaherty, (aka "Mo") is a writer, public speaker, marketing, consultant, actor, doggie foster mom and advocate. She has worked in corporate communications and for non-profit groups and has held some "interesting" jobs, such as forklift operator and playing the lead role in an Emmy-nominated short film, Radioman. Her first release The Portable Sister was published by Andrews McMeel. The little encouragement book is like having a sister to cheer you on throughout the day. Her second book, released in the winter of 2014, The Stained Glass Heart was published by Cooper & Rogers. Rich in imagery, the book encourages you to hold on and press on and to know that you are treasured and loved. Flaherty's how-to guide on fostering and other ways you can help animal rescue was released in Fall of 2016. Focusing on momma dogs and puppies, she has fostered over 600 dogs in ten years. Mo describes herself as an "idea person" and splits her time between working with youth and writing with her collaborator and best friend, Theo, her black lab.
